The rRNA depletion module (H/M/R) is primarily designed for total RNA samples from humans, mice, and rats. It can effectively remove cytoplasmic rRNA (including cytoplasmic 5S rRNA, 5.8S rRNA, 18S rRNA, and 28S rRNA) and mitochondrial rRNA (including 12S rRNA and 16S rRNA) from total RNA. The resulting RNA can be used for library construction in Whole RNA-seq or other rRNA depletion analyses.
This product is suitable not only for total RNA samples with good integrity but also for degraded RNA samples, such as FFPE RNA. The required starting amount of total RNA is 10 ng to 1 Î¼g.
