Description
Selenium Dioxide, Purified is the most commonly encountered compound of selenium. A colorless solid that has an odor resembling that of horseradish sauce. It is mostly used as coloring agent in the manufacture of glass and in small quantities used to counter act the color effects of cobalt, it is also used in organic synthesis as a r1-EAgent for allylic oxidation.
