Description
Sodium Bisulfate, Monohydrate, Crystal, Reagent, also known as sodium hydrogen sulfate, is an acid salt created by partial neutralization of sulfuric acid. Sodium bisulfate is used primarily to lower pH and, in jewelry making, sodium bisulfate is the primary ingredient used in many pickling solutions to remove the oxidation layer from surfaces, which occurs after heating. The Reagent grade denotes that this chemical is the highest quality commercially available and that the American Chemical Society has not officially set any specifications for this material. Spectrum Chemical manufactured Reagent grade products meet the toughest regulatory standards for quality and purity.
