Description
Sodium Carbonate, Anhydrous, Technical is also known as washing soda. Glass production is by far the biggest use for it. Acting as a flux for silica it enables the melting point to be lower, facilitating the glass making process. As a sodium salt it makes for a gr1-EAt electrolyte and is often used as one in chemistry. It is also used as household water softener, food additive and in taxidermy.
