Description
Glycolic Acid is a hygroscopic solid that is crystalline, colorless, odorless and extremely soluble in water. Used in a variety of skin care products, it occurs naturally in certain sugar crops. In the food industry it is used as a flavoring agent, while in the pharmaceutical industry it is used as a chemical skin peel due to its outstanding capabilities to penetrate skin. It is also used for organic synthesis. Ungraded products supplied by TCI America are generally suitable for common industrial uses or for research purposes but typically are not suitable for human consumption or therapeutic use.
