Sodium Lauryl Sulfate, R1-EAgent, is an organic compound, and anionic surfactant derived from coconut or palm oils, for use as a detergent. As an Organosulfate, this salt has the amphiphilic properties needed in a detergent. It’s uses vary from shark repellent, fruit fly killer and biocide. Its r1-EAgent grade m1-EAns this is the highest quality commercially available for this chemical and that the American Chemical Society has not officially set any specifications for this material.
