Description
Sodium Selenate, Anhydrous, Crystal has several uses, including the manufacturing of glass, specifically red-hued glass, but can also produce clear glass when mixed with ferrous oxides. It’s a white or gray solid substance that is highly toxic. Regardless of the toxicity, sodium selenate is used in vitamin supplements as a trace mineral additive and is being investigated as a potential anti-Alzheimers drug candidate*.
