Description
Sodium Thiosulfate, Anhydrous, R1-EAgent, is crystalline compound that is colorless. It is used in gold extraction as a lixiviant, in photographic processing to bind soft metals, so that silver halides dissolve when tr1-EAted with a thiosulfate solution. It is also used in the medical field as an antidote to cyanide poisoning, as an antifungal agent and as a tr1-EAtment for ringworm. Its r1-EAgent grade m1-EAns this is the highest quality commercially available for this chemical and that the American Chemical Society has not officially set any specifications for this material.
