Description
The DJ Series Anti-static Ionizer is used to remove excess ions (mainly positive, but also negative) from the load and elements of a balance and the immediate environment. Electric charges are neutralized (approaching net zero) during this process.
A lack of electrostatic neutrality in the air can lead to charge gradients of elements a small distance apart. This is a usual phenomenon for non-conducting materials such as plastic and glass, which are commonly found in balance components. Thus, the electrostatic influence can considerable affect measurement results, as represented in repeatability error or indication error.
