Description
SPINeasy DNA Kit for Blood is a high-performance genomic DNA (gDNA) extraction kit based on silica-membrane spin-column technology. This kit enables quick isolation of gDNA from whole blood preserved in different anticoagulants (EDTA, heparin, and sodium citrate), typically in less than 30 minutes. It also allows easy gDNA isolation from coagulated blood when using the FastPrep-24 5G homogenizer with lysing matrix A or D tubes (recommended for soft tissues, and not included with this kit). The use of our specially formulated Lysis Buffer BL enables highly efficient lysis of various liquid samples including plasma, serum, saliva, and cell culture medium. Column S1 and kit buffers (provided in the kit) are designed to deliver gDNA extracts of high yield and purity, compatible with downstream molecular applications such as PCR and NGS.
Performance Data
SPINeasy DNA Kit for Blood has been validated for its performance using various biological fluids. The following data demonstrate the gDNA yields obtained from various sample sources. Results demonstrate that gDNA extracted from all sample sources are of high yield and purity (Table 1, Figure 1)
