Tetraethyl Orthosilicate, also known as ethyl silicate or silicic acid tetraethyl ester, is a chemical compound and a prototypical alkoxide used as a crosslinking agent in silicone polymers and in the semiconductor industry as a precursor to silicon dioxide. Ungraded products supplied by TCI America are generally suitable for common industrial uses or for research purposes but typically are not suitable for human consumption or therapeutic use.
