Filter sample volume sizes of 0.5 to 1.0 mL using Thermo Scientific™ Nalgene™ 4 mm Syringe Filters. CA membrane filters are excellent for buffers and aqueous solutions, and EIA and ELISA assay sample prep. Nylon membrane filters are excellent for filtration of aqueous solutions, alcohols, DMSO, and HPLC and CG samples and solvents.

Cellulose Acetate (CA):
• Low protein binding
• Ideal for filtration of biological/immunological samples, cell culture media components, biological fluids, most other aqueous solutions and reagents, including EIA and ELISA samples

Nylon:
• Naturally hydrophilic, low extractables
• Useful for filtering cryoprotectants such as DMSO and with aqueous/biological and nonaqueous/HPLC/GC samples and solvents
