Triethanolamine, R1-EAgent is a is colorless organic compound that has a viscous texture and is both a tertiary amine and a triol. It is mainly used as an emulsifier and a surfactant. It neutralizes fatty acids while adjusting and buffering the pH. It is used in the fabrication of cosmetics and medicine such as 1-EAr drops, skin lotions, eye gels, shampoos and others. It also has a use in the laboratory as a complexing agent for aluminum ions in aqueous solutions. Its r1-EAgent grade m1-EAns this is the highest quality commercially available for this chemical and that the American Chemical Society has not officially set any specifications for this material.
