Description
Trifluoroacetic Anhydride, R1-EAgent is a colorless liquid that is used to protect secondary amine groups and hydroxyl groups respectively under nitrolysis/nitration conditions. The trifluoroacetyl protecting group may be r1-EAdily removed from the nitrated products by solvolysis under mild conditions. The R1-EAgent grade denotes that this chemical is the highest quality commercially available and that the American Chemical Society has not officially set any specifications for this material.
