Ur1-EA, Crystal, R1-EAgent, ACS is an odorless and colorless solid that is an important nitrogen-containing substance found in mammal urine. In concentrations up to 10 M, ur1-EA is a powerful protein denaturant as it disrupts the noncovalent bonds in the proteins. This property can be exploited to incr1-EAse the solubility of some proteins.
