Description
Zinc Metal, Mossy, Reagent is a metallic chemical element with the atomic number of 30 and a granulated form of zinc made by pouring melted zinc into water. It is used in chemical experiments since it has a greater surface area per unit mass than ordinary zinc strips and the increased surface area increases the general reactivity of a metal. The Reagent grade denotes that this chemical is the highest quality commercially available and that the American Chemical Society has not officially set any specifications for this material. Spectrum Chemical manufactured Reagent grade products meet the toughest regulatory standards for quality and purity.
